Omega Motor
Omega Motor IE3 and IE4 three-phase induction motors in frames 80–355: standard, compact, braked, two-speed, smoke extraction and marine types.
Omega Motor was founded in 2014 in Dudullu, Istanbul, by Yüksel Gamgam, who started series production of induction motors in Turkey back in 1961. From the outset the company focused on high-efficiency motors and redesigned every frame size from 80 to 355, both electrically and mechanically. All motor components are made in-house, and the test laboratory can run full-load tests on induction motors up to 900 kW.
Omega keeps the standard power-to-frame relationship: moving to IE3 or IE4 does not require a larger frame. Existing IE1 and IE2 motors can therefore be replaced with more efficient units without changing the mounting dimensions.
