Omega compact motors deliver the output specified by the standard in a frame one size smaller. The same power is obtained in a smaller volume, saving space and weight for machine builders.
All compact motors are assembled with the standard components of their frame, follow national and international mounting dimensions and meet efficiency class IE3 according to IEC 60034-30-1.
The die-cast aluminium series covers frames 80–225 and the cast iron series frames 160–315. Aluminium motors have removable feet, and on frames 132–225 the terminal box can be positioned on the right, left or top.
