GAMAK three-phase induction motors are totally enclosed, squirrel-cage general-purpose motors for three-phase AC supplies. The rotating field in the stator windings induces current in the rotor, and the simple construction gives high starting torque, low maintenance and long service life.
The range runs from 0.12 kW to 710 kW across frame sizes 63–450. Besides 2, 4, 6 and 8-pole designs, two-speed motors are also built. IE3 and IE4 efficiency classes cut energy use, while IP55, IP56, IP65 and IP66 protection options suit dusty, humid or outdoor sites.
Applications range from production lines, pumps, compressors and fans to mining, marine and crane systems.
