Electromagnetic brakes run on direct current; DDY rectifiers convert the AC mains voltage and feed DC to the brake coil. The range includes three types: half-wave, full-wave and full/half-wave.
They feature a compact housing, standard DC switching, surge protection up to 1600 V and a wide operating temperature range from −40 °C to +80 °C. The right rectifier should be selected according to the brake's rated coil voltage and the mains voltage.
