The DF series are Dereli's enclosed spring-applied electromagnetic brakes. They brake when de-energised; when the coil is energised, the pressure plate is pulled against the springs and the friction disc is released. The closed housing protects the brake from external influences.
Available from size 05 up to 1600-D and covering 5 – 3300 Nm, the series features adjustable braking torque, IP54 – IP66 protection on request, an operating noise below 70 dB and an optional noise reducer that brings it below 45 dB.
