The YF series are safety brakes that are applied by spring force and released electromagnetically when the coil is energised. They provide controlled stopping of moving loads and help bring the load to a safe stop before it can reach a hazardous position after a power loss.
Thanks to the modular design, different mounting options can be fitted without changing the stator housing. The series offers 3 – 3500 Nm in 11 sizes, a totally enclosed IP65 housing, class H insulation, asbestos-free linings and easy air-gap and torque adjustment; high-torque versions up to 5000 Nm can be built for special applications.
