The Öztekfen E series consists of right-angle worm gearboxes with a steel worm and bronze wheel, available as ESV and ESW types. ESV sizes 25 to 90 have die-cast aluminium housings, while ESV-110, ESV-130 and ESV-150 are made of GG-20/GG-22 grey cast iron.
The units can be mounted on any face, by flange or torque arm, and accept standard IEC B5/B14 motors. Optimised cooling fins increase thermal capacity. Depending on the ratio, the self-locking characteristic can be used in place of a brake in some applications, and higher ratios are available with a coupled second unit.
