Emtaş brake motors are induction motors supplied with a brake for applications where the load must stop quickly or be held in position once the motor is switched off. They are built in frame sizes 90 to 200, with outputs from 0.55 kW to 30 kW and 2 to 16 poles.
The housing and end shields are cast iron and the feet are spheroidal graphite iron; standard protection is IP55 with class F insulation. Brake type, braking torque and brake voltage are chosen to suit the application, so please include the load and stopping conditions in your quote request.
