ELK compact motors are three-phase induction motors that fit the output defined by IEC standards into a frame and/or core length one step smaller. They are chosen where installation space is tight or where a cost advantage is needed.
The compact range is produced with aluminium (EC) and cast iron (ED) housings. It shares the engineering base of the standard range and can be combined with non-drive-end options such as brakes, encoders and forced-ventilation fans.
