The Hydro-Mec Angletech family consists of modular, compact helical bevel gearboxes with input and output shafts at right angles. Small and medium sizes have aluminium housings, while heavy-duty versions (Angletech heavy) are made of cast iron.
Known for high power density and energy efficiency, the series can be foot-, flange- or shaft-mounted, with a solid shaft or a hollow shaft for shrink disc. Hardened and ground gears and a removable inspection cover for checking the gearing are standard.
