The Francia AG16 – AG50 series consists of compact right-angle bevel gearboxes with a monoblock pressure die-cast aluminium housing. They are used to turn a shaft axis through 90° or to drive several shafts synchronously from a single motor.
Case-hardened, lapped Gleason spiral bevel gears keep angular backlash low, and a GR version with further reduced backlash is available on request. The units are factory-filled with grease for life, need no periodic lubricant change and can be mounted in any position. They are supplied with 1:1 or 2:1 ratios and with 2, 3 or 4 shafts.
